Tyson Bowerbank
Tyson Bowerbank — Street Skateboarder | Olympic Hopeful
Tyson Bowerbank is redefining what’s possible in street skateboarding — and he’s on a mission to make history as the first skateboarder from Utah to represent the U.S. at the LA28 Olympic Games, the third-ever skateboarding Olympics.
Known for his technical precision, fearless innovation, and grounded authenticity, Tyson brings a rare mix of creative skill and emotional intelligence that resonates far beyond the skatepark. His defining mantra — “Be authentically yourself” — mirrors the values of brands that champion individuality, resilience, and self-belief.
Roots & Reach
Born and raised in Sandy, Utah, Tyson picked up his first skateboard at age six and has been progressing ever since. What began at local skateparks evolved into a professional career spanning major video parts, Thrasher features, and a standout appearance on The Nine Club, where he discussed identity, growth, and mental toughness in skateboarding.
That authenticity connects deeply with both core skate audiences and mainstream fans who admire his humility and drive. Tyson’s story is universal: a kid from Utah chasing big dreams — and making them real through work ethic and self-belief.
Signature Impact
Tyson is the first and only skateboarder to land a 540 down stairs, an NBD (Never-Been-Done) that solidified his reputation as a pioneer. His Thrasher-featured “Darkstar” part and consistent presence in major skate edits highlight his creative consistency and technical edge.
Today, Tyson represents 2 Cents Skateboards (Pro), FP Footwear (Pro), Spitfire, Thunder, Bones Swiss, MOB, BC Surf & Sport, SALTT, and Squatters, with formal contracts through SALTT and Squatters.
As he builds toward LA28, Tyson is expanding his partnerships — seeking aligned brands in energy, footwear, lifestyle, beverage, and wellness that value long-term storytelling, cultural relevance, and athlete-driven content.
