Pro Skateboarder | Entrepreneur | Two-Time Olympian

Roos Zwetsloot is one of the most exciting talents in global skateboarding, a street skater from the Netherlands who has already carved her name into history. As a member of the inaugural Olympic skateboarding team, Roos competed at the sport’s historic debut in Tokyo 2020, finishing 5th in the world, and returned again as a two-time Olympian at Paris 2024. Her journey began at age 8, when skateboarding was still rare for girls in her hometown. Guided by her father’s mantra — “If you believe in yourself, anything is possible” — Roos has built a career on resilience, progression, and breaking barriers.

Since her competition debut at the Dutch National Championships in 2016, Roos has consistently pushed the limits of what’s possible. She claimed her first national title in 2020 and, in December 2021, became the first woman to grind the infamous Hollywood 16 rail in Los Angeles — an achievement immortalized in Thrasher Magazine. Known for her signature heelflip and fearless approach to street skating, Roos is a regular podium contender, going head-to-head with the world’s best, including Olympic gold medalists.

Beyond competition, Roos is a powerful voice for authenticity and inspiration. She shares her world with fans through skating, fitness, and healthy cooking content, showing what it takes to thrive on and off the board. An entrepreneur, she is also the founder of Zwettie Lifestyle Products, blending her passions for performance, style, and self-expression.

Now setting her sights on LA28, Roos continues to evolve her style and progression as one of skateboarding’s most recognizable and influential athletes. With her grit, vision, and global platform, Roos Zwetsloot is not only redefining women’s skateboarding, but also inspiring a new generation to believe that if you can see it, you can be it.
