Keani Canullo

Born and raised in Waikīkī on the south shore of O'ahu, Keani grew up in the water. Though she started surfing around age 10 (late by Hawaiʻi standards, she'll tell you with a laugh), she more than made up for lost time. Both parents surfed, and the ocean quickly became her reset button, her community, and her calling.

Keani has built a competitive resume that reflects both her talent and her reach. She claimed the Mexi Log Fest 2024 Championship (one of the most coveted titles in the longboard world) and has posted multiple semifinal finishes at the event in prior seasons. In 2021, she earned an equal 9th place finish at the Cuervo Surfing Classic at Kelly Slater's Surf Ranch, and has collected invitations to invitational events around the globe, a testament to the respect she's earned across the surf community.

Out of the water, Keani carries a deep love for fashion that is easily seen in her day to day life. It's a vision that reflects who she is: someone whose identity extends well beyond surfing, but whose surfing has taken her everywhere. What drives her? Family, friends, and the knowledge that she can change the path of her day simply by paddling out into the surf.
