Hahna Norman
Olympian 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games
Women’s Snowboard Big Air & Slopestyle - US Olympic Team
Hahna Norman, a member of the U.S. Olympic Snowboard Team and now an Olympian, is one of the most dynamic forces in women’s slopestyle and big air. A Truckee, California native, Hahna cemented her place on the world stage during the 2025 season — delivering podiums, breaking into World Cup finals, and earning a promotion from the U.S. Rookie Team to the U.S. Pro Team. She carried that momentum all the way to the sport’s biggest platform, competing in Women’s Slopestyle and Women’s Snowboard Big Air at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympic Games — officially stepping into the ranks of Olympians.
The 21-year-old regular-footed rider grew up in Truckee, California, and is a graduate of Truckee High School. She began her athletic career as a ski racer but was drawn to the creativity and culture of snowboarding. Her ascent was interrupted in 2021 by a torn ACL. The injury marked a pivotal inflection point. During rehabilitation, Norman realized how deeply she loved snowboarding, returning to competition with sharpened focus and renewed purpose.
That mindset materialized in a breakthrough performance at the 2023 U.S. National Championships at Copper Mountain, where she captured the slopestyle title. Her winning run included a double wildcat — a trick she had not attempted since before her injury — signaling both physical recovery and mental resilience.
In Slopestyle, Hahna closed the 2025 season ranked 2nd in the U.S. highlighted by a 1st place finish at the Aspen Nor-Am Pro, 8th at the Aspen World Cup (an Olympic Qualifier). In big air, she climbed to 2nd in the U.S. and 15th in the world, including a 5th place at the Aspen World Cup and 10th at the World Championships. These results firmly established her as one of Team USA’s strongest Olympic contenders — a trajectory that culminated in her Olympic debut in Italy.
But Hahna’s impact extends far beyond rankings. She’s the athlete who lights up every room she enters — bringing energy, positivity, and camaraderie wherever she goes. On snow, she carries a progressive bag of tricks few women are throwing, paired with powerful style, technical precision, and creative expression that distinguish her on any start list. Off snow, she inspires athletes of all levels, proving through her comeback from injury that resilience, mindset, and passion can elevate performance on the world’s biggest stage.
Balancing humility with elite competitive intensity, Hahna embodies the grit, joy, and community spirit that define snowboarding’s future. From global podiums to Olympic competition to mentoring the next generation, she represents not just the realization of Olympic dreams, but the belief that joy in sport is what truly connects athletes, fans, and brand partners alike.
Beyond competition, Norman has cultivated an authentic connection with fans. During the Games, she gained attention on Instagram by sharing behind-the-scenes content from the Olympic Village, offering followers a transparent look into life inside the Olympic ecosystem — further expanding her profile as both an elite athlete and relatable ambassador for the next generation.
She embodies technical progression, competitive composure, and visible joy for the sport, representing the modern evolution of women’s snowboarding — performance-driven, community-oriented, and unafraid to redefine what resilience looks like at the highest level.
