Chaz Ortiz is a cultural icon in skateboarding — a prodigy who turned pro at just 14 and went on to become one of the most recognized skaters of his generation. Known for his clean, technical style and ability to bridge core street credibility with mainstream reach, Chaz helped pioneer what it means for skaters of color to build legacy partnerships without compromising identity.

Raised in Chicago, Chaz built a two-decade career that includes major brand deals with Zoo York, DGK, and Gatorade, as well as podium finishes at the X Games, Street League, and Dew Tour. But beyond the stats and medals, he has always been grounded — driven by family, fueled by resilience, and shaped by his experience growing up in the spotlight.
